As always, Edwards County Economic Development is available to assist in any way we can to help you get answers to your questions from our partners at the state Departments of Commerce, Agriculture, Emergency Management, the USDA, and especially the Small Business Administration.  Please do not hesitate to reach out and we will do our best to obtain the most up-to-date information as soon as possible. Edwards County Emergency Microloan
Businesses affected by COVID-19 can apply for $5,000 for working capital.

Edwards County E-Community Restart Kansas Loans
Up to $10,000 in emergency loan funds to businesses affected by a disaster. Terms are 48 months, 2% interest with 4 months deferred.

Kansas Department of Commerce

The Kansas Department of Commerce is working closely with the Kansas Department of Emergency Management (KDEM) to complete the required steps for requesting an SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan Declaration. As part of the process, KDEM needs to obtain information from small businesses that have suffered substantial economic injury as a result of the COVID-19 Disaster.
