Kinsley, population 1,658, is the County Seat of Edwards County, Kansas and is located between the divisions of Highways 50, 56, and 183.  The city of Kinsley supports all the essentials and more of small community living with endless opportunities.  The City itself is located on the west side of rolling hills, farmland and pastures with the Arkansas River and Coon Creek flowing around it.  This makes hunting, fishing and exploring year round activities enjoyed, not only by the local population but by people from across the United States.

Kinsley maintains grocery and convenience stores, antique, consignment, and thrift stores, automotove parts and repair shops, hometown banking, realtors, drug store, hospital, doctors, professional services, senior care centers and residences, and much much more.

Recreation includes theater, museums, library, swimming pool, baseball field, parks and playgrounds, golf course and motocross racing.  We are Midway USA, the halfway point, 1,561 miles between New York and San Francisco.  We are the home of Kansas Outlaws, the only sanctioned Lawn Mower Racing Club in Kansas...and, upon completion , Kinsley will have a completely restored and running Double Decker Carousel from the early 1900s.
