Prairie Enterprise Project
The Prairie Enterprise Project is a cooperative effort between Edwards, Barton,  and Russell counties to implement Enterprise Facilitation™ in Central Kansas.  Our Enterprise Facilitator, Karmi Greene, offers absolutely FREE and absolutely CONFIDENTIAL business coaching to anyone who wants to start or expand a business in any of our counties provided to you in your home or business.  You can contact Karmi directly at 1-866-617-1555, or via e-mail at pep1@ruraltel.net.

Kansas Small Business Development Center
The Kansas Small Business Development Centers were created specificall for the small business owner.  Business Start-ups and expansions can receive free business counseling services.  There are several SBDCs in the State of Kansas.  Edwards County falls under the service area of the Garden City Small Business Development Center located at the Community College.  Several times a year a counselor from Garden City comes to Kinsley and sees clients in the Economic Development office.  If you are interested in setting up an appointment for the next time they are in town call Linette Miller at 620-659-2711 or contact the SBDC directly at 620-276-9632.
