Award Divisions:

              5-K Run     Mens & Womens:         

14 and Under; 15-19;20-29;30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and Over

Predict Time 2 Mile Walk

                   Youth         Male Finisher                Female Finisher

Both the Race and Walk will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Main Street, 6^th Street, Kinsley. The Walk is a predict time walk, NO WATCHES, STOPWATCHES, RADIOS, OR OTHER TIMING DEVICES.  Walk  winners are the closest to their predicted finish time. The Kinsley Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a Christmas Craft Show in conjunction with the Race and other Activities.  So come and run and do some Christmas shopping for unique Christmas Gifts.

Entry Fee: 

$15.00 by November 27, 2006    $18.00 Race Day Payable to “Kinsley Rotary Club”                      Long Sleeved T-Shirts for all entrants

I know that running/walking a road race is a potentially hazardous activity.  I should not enter unless I am medically able and properly trained.  I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative  to my  ability to safely complete the event. I assume all risks associated with this event including, but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, traffic and conditions of the road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf; waive and release the Kinsley Rotary Club, City of Kinsley, and all volunteers associated with this event from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver.

  DECORATED STOCKING  CONTEST AT FARMERS BANK & TRUST 

To Edwards County and surrounding residents, businesses, groups and organizations:

We will be sponsoring a “Decorated Christmas Stocking” Contest this year.  We would like each of you, your kids, organizations, groups & classes to put on your thinking caps and make a “Decorated Christmas Stocking” and enter in the contest.

The contest divisions will be:

Best of Show (Includes All Divisions)

Youth – Age 5-16 – Individuals

                     Youth –  Age 5-16 - Groups/Organizations

Adult – 17 & up – Individual

                                                    Adult – 17 & up – Group/Organizations

Prizes will be $50.00 – Best of Show; Youth & Adult divisions will pay 1^st - $25.00; 2^nd - $15.00 & 3^rd - $10.00 in each division..

  The rules are:

       1.  Entries may be displayed inside or outside depending on the materials and    size.    

2.       Entries can be made of any material you wish.

Entries can be checked in at the bank, 616 Colony:

                            12-01-06 (Friday) 9:00 to 6:00

                            12-02-06 (Saturday) 8:00 to 9:00
